Adjustable Frame stand

Adjustable Frame stand

Regular price £48.00 Sale

This adjustable frame has the top and bottom bars made from a hardwood. The studding making up the upright sides is 8mm stainless steel.  The top bar can be adjusted simply( therefore changing the tension on the warp) by loosening the locking nylon nut (white) and raising or lowering the bar by means of the lobed , threaded hand wheel that the upper bar rests upon.  Finally bring the nylon nut down to sit, finger tight (no more) upon the top of the bar (check out the images a-d).  The bottom edge of the lower bar is recessed so that the warp threads are not damaged if the frame is clamped in a vertical position with `g` clamps (see illustration).  This frame works very well with the adjustable frame stand.

Max. height between bars is;   40cm       Max. width between studding is   42cm

Note;  The wood may differ slightly from the frame illustrated.
