About Me

Me: My name is Andrew Dickinson and I live and work in West Dean on the South Coast of the United Kingdom near the walled city of Chichester.

I trained, originally, as a Scientific Illustrator and then as a Lute Maker. As well as repairing musical instruments I work as a pattern maker/sculptor. All these skills I bring to the products that I create for Artisan Bobbins.

Using the most beautiful materials that I can find, I aim to make the best possible tools for the Artist Tapestry Weaver.
