1019 Stabilized Wood Hand Tip

Stabilized Wood Hand Tip               length:  11cm

Although not as extrovert as the coloured stabilised wood it has been slightly tinted with a rich gold.  There are so many details to take on with this piece of maple. Ripples, quilting, the finest margin thread-like lines and subtle knot pips.  The cap is a complementary brown Mallee burr, separated from the main body by a polyester `briar` collar. The tip is nickel silver.
